About Kidbrooke Park Festival
The first Kidbrooke Park Music Festival Forest Row took place in the autumn of 2019 with a memorable weekend of concerts and events in various venues across Forest Row.
Now in it’s 6th year, the Kidbrooke Park Music Festival continues to bring top quality music to our area, whilst also broadening its events to include educational projects for local young musicians.
In 2021 the European Chamber Ensemble concert included a world premiere by the composer Jeff Moore that brought a large group of children together with the professional musicians in a joint grand finale. A truly unforgettable and inspiring event for all the children involved.
The 2022 festival included a new form of lyric-drama written and acted by Tama Matheson, combining acting and music in an unforgettable performance of Beethoven.
In 2023, Kidbrooke Park Music Festival featured Steven Devine’s Harpsichord, London Mozart Players with the KP Festival Youth Orchestra, Four Cellists of the Philharmonia and Johann Sebastian with Tama Matheson.
Kidbrooke Park Music Festival 2024 comes to Forest Row on 2-3 November 2024 and there will be something for everyone.

Kidbrooke Park Festival Youth Orchestra
The Kidbrooke Park Festival Youth Orchestra draws it’s members from in and around Forest Row, East Sussex. Enthusiastic young musicians of all levels get together once a year to perform in the Kidbrooke Park Music Festival alongside professional musicians.
The past few years have seen memorable performances of brilliant pieces by the composer Jeff Moore and collaborations with the likes of the London Mozart Players, the European Chamber Ensemble and the actor Tama Matheson.
We welcome all string instruments, as well as harps, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboes, bassoons, all brass instruments and percussion.
This is a unique opportunity for young musicians to be inspired and motivated. Would you like to take part in our next festival? We look forward to hearing from you when applications open in May 2024.
