🍂 Michael Hall are hosting our October Mansion Market from 11-4pm 🍂
Our Class 3 farmers will be there busy pressing apples and selling their bounty to fundraise for The Children’s Forest. We have Class 11 catering for all our food needs with drinks, cakes and lunch in the canteen, whilst Classes 7 are hosting a Clockhouse Courtyard ‘pop-up-shop’, a second hand offering where you will be sure to pick up a bargain! There will also be a limited supply of honey from our own Michael Hall Apiary!
There will be over 100 stalls and we are delighted to welcome 20 new stallholders who are attending for the first time. Perhaps you would like to get some early Christmas shopping done or find that unique gift for someone or even yourself!
The markets promise to offer all manner of beautiful items from handwoven baskets, clothes, eco beauty products, dolls, jewellery, dried flower wreaths, scents for the home, textiles, rugs, artwork, cards, toys, glasswork, wooden chopping boards, prints, books, children’s clothing and knits, scarves, sculptures, bags, leatherwork, ceramics, beeswax candles, pottery, hand carved wooden spoons, artisan food such as breads from Fermento Bakery, Indian food, olives, cheeses, coffee, honey, and the much relied on winter tonics!
For our younger visitors, we have Elfin Grove presenting ‘The Firebird’, an enchanting puppet show, see attached poster.
These community events create a wonderful chance to have true craftsmanship brought to you, to meet up with friends, purchase something extra special and to shop locally. The markets are run by a team of volunteers and all money raised from stallholder fees goes solely towards improving opportunities and facilities for our students.
Parking and entrance is free although please walk if you can, as we would love to have enough parking spaces for those coming from further afield.
We are looking forward to seeing you there!
