The Forest Row Festival focusses the music and performances on Forester’s Green in the heart of Forest Row.
Forest Row Festival 2025 Dates
Taking place 13-15 June 2025, as well as the entertainment on the Green there are events all around the village over the weekend.
The Forest Row Festival has been running for over 20 years, having first been established as a celebratory Village Bike Ride.

Weekend tickets to Forest Row Festival usually cost £25.

This ticket gives access the Forester’s Green, where the main stage is located and where you see the bands, experience food stalls, crafts, activities and a fully stocked bar including local craft beers.
Running a festival with incredible entertainment and organisation costs time and money. If every adult who attends the festival bought this pass it would cover the costs.

The festival team put together a mouth-watering selection of food stalls to cater for every possible taste, all are sourced locally.

As well as food, the market on the green features an array of local crafts and a wellness zone.
A Green Festival
In keeping with the Forest community, the organisers strive to make the Festival as sustainable as possible.
Forest Row Bike Ride
The annual Forest Row Bike Ride made a return in 2023, the 20th time it has taken place, and in 2024.
Ride between the stations, making sure to get your map stamped at each location, and finish at the Festival site on Forester’s Green. Hand in a copy of your fully stamped map at the Information Point by 12pm.
Each participant should take a copy of the map.
Children under 12 should be accompanied by a responsible adult as the route crosses and goes along several roads. Each participant enters the bike ride at their own risk. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage arising as a result of participation in the bike ride.
Get Involved
Forest Row Festival is a community event, run for and by the people of Forest Row. The performers, stall-holders and event organisers are all part of the community. If you would like to get involved, there are many ways you can do so.
Volunteer
Forest Row Festival need lots of volunteers to help with the various jobs that need doing over the weekend to support out hard-working organising committee.
As a critical part of the Festival team, they need people who can undertake various jobs including selling programmes, shaking buckets, clearing cups/rubbish off tables, helping at events over the weekend, and welcoming people through the entrances.

Organise an event

Sponsor the Festival
The Festival has been searching for local businesses to sponsor the event.
There are many sponsorship options including banners over the entrance ways, adverts in the Festival Programme, promotion on social media and much more. This is an amazing opportunity for any company to promote itself to the people of Forest Row, and help to create something wonderful.

Festival Safety
The Festival Committee asks that people attending the Festival events on Forester’s Green abide by the following rules:
- Follow instructions given by stewards and security personnel at all times.
- Entry to the site will be via the two public entrances, one on Hartfield Road and the other on Forester’s Link. The Forester’s Green site will be fenced off preventing any other entry points.
- The Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual or group.
- It is a condition of entry that each attendee may be subject to a security search upon entry and around the site.
- Any contraband material (including drugs, weapons, glass bottles, flammable material, and alcohol carried by under-18s) found during searches will be confiscated and appropriate action taken by the security team.
- There will be a locked amnesty bin on entry for voluntary disposal of contraband materials.
- Anyone under-18 attempting to gain entry with drugs, alcohol or other contraband material, will be refused entry. Anyone found inside the Festival with drugs, alcohol or other contraband material will have that material confiscated and will be refused entry.
- Adults over 18 are permitted to bring alcohol onto the Green for their own consumption. Anyone found selling alcohol other than the designated bar will have the alcohol confiscated and will be ejected and refused re-entry.
- The Festival operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy at the alcohol point of sale, at the entrance to the Festival site by the SIA team, and throughout the Festival site by the roaming SIA team as deemed necessary by them. Acceptable forms of ID, in accordance with the Challenge 25 scheme, are a card bearing the PASS hologram, a photographic driving license or a passport.
- Children under 12 should be accompanied by a parent or other appropriate responsible adult.
- Lost children or vulnerable adults should be reported immediately to the Information Point, a steward or a member of the security team.
- In the event of an injury or accident please alert any steward, member of the security team, or member of the onsite medical team (British Red Cross).
- If you become aware of a fire or other emergency please inform a steward or member of the security team.
- Please use the litter bins and cigarette butt bins provided.
- Please leave the event in a quiet and orderly manner as we are located in a residential neighbourhood.
